Quick Expense Entry
While in a trip, tap the "+" button at the bottom and select "Log Expense" to start recording.
Each expense record includes:
- Amount: Enter the expense amount
- Currency: Auto-selected based on your current location, or switch manually
- Category: Food, Transport, Accommodation, Shopping, Tickets, Other
- Note: A brief description of the expense
- Photo (optional): Snap a picture of the receipt or bill
Auto-Linked Information
When recording an expense, Travel Keeper automatically links:
- π Current Location β GPS-based auto-detection
- π Current Time β No manual entry needed
- π± Local Currency β Recommended based on your location
Quick Entry from Home Screen
Long-press the Travel Keeper app icon on your phone's home screen to quickly select "Log Expense" and go directly to the entry page β no need to open the app first.
π‘ Tip: The expense tracking feature works offline too. Data will sync automatically when you're back online.
