Multi-Currency Tracking
Traveling often involves multiple currencies. Travel Keeper lets you record expenses in different currencies within the same ledger — no manual conversion needed.
Switching Currencies
On the expense entry page, tap the currency icon next to the amount to switch. 50+ major currencies are supported, including:
- USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, KRW
- THB, VND, SGD, MYR, AUD
- CNY, HKD, TWD, and more
Automatic Exchange Rates
Travel Keeper uses real-time exchange rates to convert all expenses into your "base currency" (default: CNY).
- Automatically fetches the latest rate when logging expenses
- Uses the most recently cached rate when offline
- The ledger summary page shows totals in the converted amount
Setting Your Base Currency
Go to "Settings" → "Base Currency" to choose your preferred currency for totals. All ledger summaries will be displayed in this currency.
💡 Tip: When traveling across borders, Travel Keeper automatically recommends the local currency based on your location.
